I made this flag for my neighbor I cut the ribbon out with the gazelle all I did was smooth out the nylon rip stop onto the sticky mat and cut it out on a low speed

I have a pdf file on my website that you can download the instructions. I have also included the pdf file for the pear only. if you want to use a quilt block it has to be 6 1/2 inches square. I used electric quilter 5 to create mine.

Bosskut Gazelle
27x8 piece of pink fabric
27x8 batting
31x10 piece of green fabric
2 1 ½ inch strips of green fabric
Fusible web
Dowel and ribbon for hanging optional
Scraps of pink, green and yellow fabric for the tulips
Walking foot
Thread
Optional: machine embroidery thread in green yellow and pink for blanket stitch around applique
Preparing the wall hanging:
27x8 piece of pink fabric
27x8 batting
31x10 piece of green fabric
1- place green wrong side up
2-place batting and pink right side up 2 inches from the top and 2 inches from the sides. Pin in place.
Using your walking foot and guide at 1 inch and begin quilting the pink fabric and batting to the green fabric only quilting on the pink fabric.
now sew your 2- 1 ½ inch strips of green fabric wrong sides together ¼ inch seam allowance.
Fold your strip so that the seam is centered and press. Set aside you will place them on the quilt after the tulips are fused on.
Cutting your applique pieces
Get your pieces of fabric together and fuse some fusible web to the backs.
Cut the tulips out the size you want for your wall hanging
I have a video on cutting this fabric on YouTube under username jeffsflame
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9G6Dyi713Q&context=C4053a3bADvjVQa1PpcFMIytI_tx7n_74wZMOne4-99t6-SCNdxDg=
Lay out your tulips on your fabric the way you would like and fuse down
Using the green strips as markers to separate the pieces. Pin the green strips across the pink and sew in place close to the edge
fold the long sides of the green in half and then in half again and sew to the pink on the edge. When you finish the sides fold the corners in and miter them or just square them, and fold the top in half and in half again and sew down repeat for the bottom.
for the hanger you can attach a rod pocket or make tabs to hang I used a dowel and ribbon.
now my favorite part is to take the wall hanging over to my sewing machine and with matching thread to the fabric use a blanket stitch all around the pieces to give it a hand stitched look.
this really is optional you don’t have to do this part.
I hope you enjoyed this.
thank you ,
Ruthanne

I just might want to sit at the kids table this Easter where these placemats are going to be. They are so easy to create and measure approx. 12x18 inches.
Cutting out the 0303Dchickpeeker was very simple. I really only use my gazelle for cutting fabric and just love how easy it is.
Simply fuse some fusible web to your fabric peel the paper I use speed 3 and pressure 3-4.
I premade the placemat which got me thinking, you could just purchase one at your local store and fuse the 0303Dchickpeeker on it.
A simple blanket or applique stitch around the pieces and everyone will be impressed with your talents.
Files used: 0303Dchickpeeker
Materials: heat and bond lite, scraps of fabric batting and embroidery thread for blanket stitching.
***the fabric show through wasn’t noticeable until I used a flash. if you use a solid fabric you wont have that problem or resize the 0303Dchickpeeker to fit in the white area.
I am one of those kinds of people that when I get a crafty thought in my head I just have to plan it all out. So for the last couple of weeks I have been trying to figure out how I can sew projects with my Gazelle, with allergy season here nice and early due to not having a real winter on the east coast I figured why not make a tissue box cover. I had to make a pattern that I could cutout with the gazelle and sew it up on my sewing machine maybe decorate it with some applique and just have some fun.Ok I know I could cut fabric with fusible web with no problem but this isn't a fusible project… so I kept thinking and I came up with the fastest coolest way to do it all with something you find in the grocery store. I am soooooooooo excited I figured out this. now my ideas are endless.. and my head is actually spinning with ideas. I feel like my crafty mojo is back ![]()
I am working on pdf instructions after I post this. so in a day or two I hope to be selling this pattern.

for thanksgiving I made this wall quilt. it was so simple to do. I cut and sewed the blocks together, then added the appliques that were cut out with my gazelle. it took an afternoon to make.
below is a close up of the turkey![]()
for the winter I created this snowman quilt block this was so easy I feel guilty for sharing (giggle)
for the background I just cut out 9 blue blocks about 9 inches each sewed them together then cut out the snowman and snowflakes with the gazelle.
with my embroidery machine I attached them to blocks randomly. to simple..
here is a topper I cut out with the gazelle fused to batting and then top stitched each block when each bow tie block was finished (4 of them) I then stitched them together with the same top stitch![]()

even though there's fusible web on the back of the fabric I found using basting spray keeps it in position while I iron it on. the final image shows how I top stitched it out.
the hardest part of making the table topper was choosing which way to use the blocks ![]()
